♻️Rake

50% of the rake income will go to LP to support price of $KTRC.

In poker, rake is a fixed percentage taken by the cardroom operator out of every pot. Generally, this is between 4% and 10%.

This is also the so-called house edge, and this is why poker is a beatable game, while all other conventional casino games are not – players play against each other, not against the house.

For cash games, established online operators, such as Pokerstars or Unibet, take 5-6%, depending on the stakes being played.

On our platform, rake will be 2% at tables using KTRC and 4% at tables using USDC/SOL.

For tournaments, our rake will be 4% in KTRC and 8% in USDC/SOL, compared to the usual flat 10% charged by online operators.

While the rake taken at USDC/SOL games is already below market average, the rake in KTRC is an unparalleled feature of our platform. This significant difference in rake drastically increases the percentage of profitable players on our platform, which in turn makes the game more accessible to the masses. Ultimately, the long-term purpose of KTRC is to bring poker closer to being a zero-sum game.

This design has two very specific goals in mind – we incentivize players both to use and hold $KTRC to take advantage of the multitude of benefits that provides, while also offering more conservative players competitive rake in more established and trusted cryptocurrencies. This is where the implementation of $USDC is important, as it shields players that elect to use it from the potential volatility of the cryptocurrency market as a whole.
